W.H. Gispen was the first person in the Netherlands to start a series production of tubular steel furniture. Characteristic of his furniture designs is the balance between form and functionality. This coat rack also has an umbrella stand at the bottom. The upper side is made of chromed steel pipes and the bottom tray is made of lacquered sheet steel.
